Applicants must have a valid driver's license, have reliable transportation, pass a pre-employment drug test, and pass a background check. Buena Vista Ski Area operates from December through March. Applicants must be willing to work evenings and weekends.

• Lift Operator - Perform all lift operation duties, along with checking tickets. Must be at least18 years old and willing to work outside loading chairlifts, shoveling, carrying wood and other related duties.
• Tubing Park Operator - Perform a variety of duties in the tubing park including loading and unloading tubers, checking tickets, shoveling and hauling firewood. Must be 18.
• Food Service Worker - Employees will operate cash register, grill and fryer, pizza ovens and other food service equipment. Will be responsible for the safe handling of food and for maintaining a clean food service area. Must be at least 18 to operate grill, fryer and other equipment in kitchen.
• Rental Technician - Employees will be certified to adjust bindings on ski and snowboard equipment, and will distribute skis, boards, boots and poles to customers. Certified technicians must be at least18 years old.
  Rental Assistants will assist in handing out equipment to customers but will not fit bindings. They may be asked to help in other departments as needed. They should be at least 16 years old.
• Ski School Instructor / Snowboard Instructor - Intermediate to Advanced level skiers and snowboarders will receive Instructor training which will allow them to give individual and groups lessons to customers. Instructors must be at least 16 years old and able to work weekends and holidays.
• Group Representative - Assist with group marketing, group arrivals and office duties. Previous customer service experience is required. Hours may vary.
• Snowmaking Assistant - Assist with snowmaking. Must be at least 18 years old, able to lift heavy objects, work night shifts and tolerate cold weather. Background in electricity, plumbing, and/or maintenance preferred.
• Pro Patroller - Must have current first aid and CPR certification and be an intermediate to advanced skier. This person will provide on-site first aid for injured or sick individuals.
