Buena
vista Ski Area and Logging Village offers covered wagon
tours on the Continental Divide throughtout the summer
and fall. Experience a narrated tour on an authentic covered
wagon, accompanied by outriders on horseback who will
give the history of Buena Vista, and point out where the
waters flow south to the Gulf of Mexico and north to Hudson
Bay. Look for wildlife such as bald eagles, fox and deer
and take in the beauty of the lakes, forests and rolling
hills of Buena Vista as you cover the original Leech Lake
Indian Trail.
Fall color rides will be offered to the public on Saturday, September 15th, 2007 from 11am-4pm.
Prices:$6 for 13 and over; $3 for 6-12; free 5 & under.
Private
wagon and buggy rides are available by reservation at
other times throughout the year. Prices vary.
